WE ARE ALL MIRRORS FOR EACH OTHER.....

When we look at other people, we see many of their qualities in innumerable and seemingly random combinations. However, the qualities that we see in the people around us are directly related to the traits that exist in us. "Like attracts like" is one of the spiritual laws of the universe. We attract individuals into our lives that mirror who we are. Those you feel drawn to reflect your inner self back at you, and you act as a mirror for them. Simply put, when you look at others, you will likely see what exists in you. When you see beauty, divinity, sweetness, or light in the soul of another, you are seeing the goodness that resides in your soul. When you see traits in others that evoke feelings of anger, annoyance, or hatred, you may be seeing reflected back at you those parts of yourself that you have disowned or do not like.Because we are all mirrors for each other, looking at the people in your life can tell you a lot about yourself. Who you are can be laid bare to you through what you see in others. It is easy to see the traits you do not like in others. It is much more difficult to realize that you possess those same traits. Often, the habits, attitudes, and behaviors of others are closely linked to our unconscious and unresolved issues. When you come into contact with someone you admire, search your soul for similarly admirable traits. Likewise, when you meet someone exhibiting traits that you dislike, accept that you are looking at your reflection. Looking at yourself through your perception of others can be a humbling and eye-opening experience. You can also cultivate in you the traits and behaviors that you do like. Be loving and respectful to all people, and you will attract individuals that will love and respect you back. Nurture compassion and empathy and let the goodness you see in others be your mirror. --

I AM NOT CRYING BECAUSE...............................

A man reached 70 years of age and he faced a disease; he could not urinate. The doctors informed him that he was in need of an operation to cure this disease. He agreed to have the operation done as the problem was giving him much pain for days. When the operation was completed, his doctor gave him the bill which covered all the costs. The old man looked at the bill and started to cry. Upon seeing this the doctor told him that if the cost was too high then they could make some other arrangements. The old man said "I am not crying because of the money but I am crying because Allah let me urinate for 70 years and He never sent me a bill."...

".......and if you try to count the blessings of Allah, never will you be able to count them..." Surah Ibrahim

Allah states that the servants are never able to count His blessings, let alone thank Him duly for them. In Sahih Al-Bukhari it is recorded that the Messenger of Allah( Peace and blessings be upon him) used to supplicate;

«اللَّهُمَّ لَكَ الْحَمْدُ غَيْرَ مَكْفِيَ وَلَا مُوَدَّعٍ وَلَا مُسْتَغْنًى عَنْهُ رَبَّنَا»

O Allah ! All praise is due to You, without being able to sufficiently thank You, nor ever wish to be cutoff from You, nor ever feeling rich from relying on You; our Lord!

It was reported that Prophet Dawud peace be upon him, used to say in his supplication, "O Lord! How can I ever duly thank You, when my thanking You is also a favor from You to me'' Allah the Exalted answered him, "Now, you have thanked Me sufficiently, O Dawud,'' meaning, `when you admitted that you will never be able to duly thank Me.'

LAFZ ADHOORAY LAGTEY HAIN..........................

Lafz adhooray lagtay hain har baat adhoori lagti hai.. Chand bhi nahi nikla, ye raat adhoori lagti hai..
Baras rahay hain badal meray aashiyanay per qahar ban kar..
Abhi toota nahi makaan mera, ye barsaat adhoori lagti hai..
Kab tak sahara dengi umeedain meri sansoo ko..
Milta nahi tujh sa maharbaan, ye kainaat adhoori lagti hai..
Mili hain khushiyaan bhi mujhay lamhon ke wastay..
Agar gham hi moqaddar hai to, ye soghat adhoori lagti hai..
Kis se gila karoon koun sunega meri dashtan-e-tanhaai..
Likha tha jis per mera naseeb, Wo kitaab adhoori lagti hai..~~~

FOR ALL THE PEOPLE IN MY LIFE !

People come into your life for a reason, a season or a lifetime. When you know which one it is, you will know what to do for that person.
When someone is in your life for a REASON, it is usually to meet a need you have expressed. They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally or spiritually. They may seem like a godsend and they are. They are there for the reason you need them to be. Then, without any wrongdoing on your part or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end. Sometimes they die. Sometimes they walk away. Some times they act up and force you to take a stand. What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled, their work is done. The prayer you sent up has been answered and now it is time to move on.
Some people come into your life for a SEASON, because your turn has come to share, grow or learn. They bring you an experience of peace or make you laugh. They may teach you something you have never done. They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy. Believe it, it is real. But only for a season!
LIFETIME relationships teach you lifetime lessons, things you must build upon in order to have a solid emotional foundation. Your job is to accept the lesson, love the person and put what you have learned to use in all other relationships and areas of your life. It is said that love is blind but friendship is clairvoyant.
Thank you for being a part of my life, whether you were a reason, a season or a lifetime

POTATOES

salam all,
Many of us hold grudges towards people in our lives at one point or the other and that spoils the human relations. And all of us do not let go of those grudges so easily for our own reasons. But Here is a cute Story in which a Kindergarten teacher teaches children how much pain in the neck can "Holding Grudges" actually be for all of us. And how free and happy we can be by dropping the burden of those grudges that we may have against some people.
After reading this story I actually realised how harmful and painful it can be for our OWN SELVES to hate somebody !!!
May Allah Subhana wataala Grant us all patience to forgive those who wrong/ hurt us. Ameen sumameen.

POTATOES

A kindergarten teacher has decided to let her class play a game. The teacher told each child in the class to bring along a plastic bag containing a few potatoes. Each potato will be given a name of a person that the child hates, so the number of potatoes that a child will put in his/her plastic bag will depend on the number of people he/she hates.

So when the day came, every child brought some potatoes with the name of the people he/she hated. Some had 2 potatoes; some 3 while some up to 5 potatoes.

The teacher then told the children to carry with them the potatoes in the plastic bag wherever they go (even to the toilet) for 1 week.

Days after days passed by, and the children started to complain due to the unpleasant smell let out by the rotten potatoes.

Besides, those having 5 potatoes also had to carry heavier bags. After 1 week, the children were relieved because the game had finally ended.
The teacher asked: "How did you feel while carrying the potatoes with you for 1 week?"
The children let out their frustrations and started complaining of the trouble that they had to go through having to carry the heavy and smelly potatoes wherever they go.
Then the teacher told them the hidden meaning behind the game. The teacher said: "This is exactly the situation when you carry your hatred for somebody inside your heart.

The stench of hatred will contaminate your heart and you will carry it with you wherever you go. If you cannot tolerate the smell of rotten potatoes for just 1 week, can you imagine what is it like to have the stench of hatred in your heart for your lifetime?"
Throw away any hatred for anyone from your heart so that you will not carry sins for a lifetime. Forgiving others is the best attitude to take. "Learn to Forgive and Forget"

WHAT HAPPENED ?????

As salam alykum,

well ,well well ! HereI am again, but this time after long time. My apologies for the same. Actually I didnt find any nice story which I would share with u all. But yes ! I did find one Poem , I dont know who the author of the poem is and I also dont knw the source of this poem either. I found it just today in one of the unopened mails which was sent to me by my sister pretty 3 yrs ago. Phwe !!!! thats pretty long time to open and check a sisters mail isnt it??? Well I thought it must be just another forward at that time. But I liked it so much and thought I should share it with u all. Read on !!
WHAT HAPPENED???
What happened to those days when my faith was strong?

When I wouldn't dare think of doing anything wrong

When my trust in Allah would lead me through

The good and bad, the old and new

What happened to the days when my prayer was sincere?

When there was absolutely nothing on earth I would fear

When I was certain that Allah was very near

And would run to Him and leave all else that is dear

What happened to those days when I could recite well?

When I bought Paradise and this world I would sell

When my heart was pure and all full of light

When my Salah was my source of strength and might

What's wrong my soul, why did you fall?

Don't you know that Allah hears your call?

A little test like this shouldn't beat you so

It shouldn't pull you down to a level so low

Don't you know that Allah always chooses what is best

And that this is all part of a previously planned test

Allah is Great, Allah is Al-Hakeem

His ways are just, no matter how hard it may seem

Hold on my soul, to the fireball in your palm

Hold on tight and when it burns, be calm

Whenever it falls, bend down and restart

Let out the tears and wipe clean that heart

Get back on your feet and go back to those days

You will soon see this is only a transient phase--

Allah burdens not a person beyond his scope. He gets reward for that (good) which he has earned, and he is punished for that (evil) which he has earned. "Our Lord! Punish us not if we forget or fall into error, our Lord! Lay not on us a burden like that which You did lay on those before us (Jews and Christians); our Lord! Put not on us a burden greater than we have strength to bear. Pardon us and grant us Forgiveness. Have mercy on us. You are our Maula
(Patron, Supporter and Protector, etc.) and give us victory over the disbelieving people. Aameen Sumaameen !!!

PRECIOUS THAN DIAMONDS AND PEARLS

salam,

I know this post is coming too soon after the last one, but I simply couldn't resist my self from publishing it. I thought it was indeed very precious message which should be shared with you all . All the parents of daughters , specially teenaged daughters would indeed get a new way of convincing their daughters about developing a good dress sense.
This is not a story ,but a real life incident where a father convinces his daughter about dressing properly. The beauty of the explanations he gives his daughter just moved me and touched me deep inside. I was amazed and wonderd for a long time. Indeed girls are really are precious !!!!

PRECIOUS THAN DIAMONDS AND PEARLS

“If memory serves me correctly, I was wearing a little white tank top and a short black skirt. I had been raised Orthodox Muslim, so I had never before worn such revealing clothing while in my father’s presence. When we finally arrived, the chauffer escorted my younger sister, Laila, and me up to my father's suite. As usual, he was hiding behind the door waiting to scare us. We exchanged many hugs and kisses as we could possibly give in one day. My father took a
good look at us. Then he sat me down on his lap and said something that I will never forget.
He looked me straight in the eyes and said, “Hana, everything that God made valuable in the world is covered and hard to get to. Where do you find diamonds? Deep down in the ground covered and protected. Where do you find pearls? Deep down at the bottom of the ocean covered up and protected in a beautiful shell. Where do you find gold? Way down in the mine, covered over with layers and layers of rock. You’ve got to work hard to get to them.”
He looked at me with serious eyes. “Your body is sacred. You’re far more precious than diamonds and pearls, and you should be covered too.”
